Special hardened 28 tooth pinion for the TT01 design.
When used with the 55 Tooth Spur Gear from pack 53665 Spur Gear pack, the motor should be fitted into the position indicated in the TT01 manual for a 22t pinion.
This combination has the effect of raising the gear ratio from 19:61 to 28:55.
In laymans terms - with the standard gearing, 3.21 turns of the motor turns the propshaft once, with this gearing 1.96 turns of the motor turns the propshaft once - increasing the top speed by almost 64%!
Our tests have shown that this gearing upgrade with a 53068 Sport Tune motor makes a standard TT01 faster than a standard XBG-TNS Nitro model!
