Coaches come in three rough grades in this section:
Bachmann and Hornby standard coaches are full detail, many have interior detail and fine pipework, handles etc. They are more expensive but you get what you pay for.
Hornby Railroad are Hornby's older coach range that has been in production for decades. They are generally shorter and therefore able to go round tighter curves. They are the same coaches included with train sets.
Oxford coaches are the oddball ones. Since Hornby and Oxford effectively merged in recent years, Oxford now seem to produce less. They're very good though with detail part way between Hornby's Railroad and Standard ranges, and with prices in that midpoint as well. |
