IMPORTANT NOTE: This part is designed to fail if the car's wheels get jammed, either in a jump or an accident. This part breaking regularly points to driving technique and is not a fault of the model. Almost all RC cars use a plastic first / spur gear for this reason, it stops a power surge wrecking the electronics if the motor is suddenly jammed at full speed.
