The original Land Rover Series 1 was concieved as a workhorse for country folk after the chairman of Rover at the time found an ex-US Army jeep to be extremely useful on his land.

From this vehicle all the cars, right up to the modern day off and soft roaders, stem.  This was a basic crude vehicle that you could fix yourself with simple tools - as a result, despite being introduced soon after WWII, a staggering number of these old vehicles remain.

Full interior detail.  1:18 scale.  Boxed.
