Hornby controllers come in various versions. If you intend to use electric point motors or lit signals etc, please ensure you have a unit with an AC accessory output. Contact us if unsure.
For a basic train controller, we recommend the Bachmann 36-560 unit which is very reliable and a good replacement for any faulty controller you may have on a standard train set.
