The RS4 Sport 3 features a pre-painted 1969 Ford Mustang RTR-X muscle car body with authentic detailing and decals. The body comes completely trimmed and mounted for the ultimate in ease, and a functional racing wing is fitted for supreme control at all speeds. You'll have concours quality appearance, and you can always customize your car with any of the clear or pre-painted polycarbonate body shells from the huge assortment of HPI bodies and other manufacturers as well! This kit is supplied with a set of awesome wheels fitted with HPI Spec-Grip tyres, AND you get another complete set of wheels fitted with HPI drift tyres, too! You can enjoy grip and drift driving with one kit!
 
Easy to Drive with a Real Steering Wheel Controller!
The HPI Racing RS4 Sport 3 is super-easy to drive and get familiar with – all you have to do is plug in the included battery and switch on the radio, then the car. It’s that easy! To drive the car, simply pick up the controller with your left hand, put your left index finger into the trigger area, and then put your right hand on the steering wheel – it’s as natural as driving a real car! Turn the wheel to go left and right, and gently pull on the trigger with your left index finger to go forwards. To stop the car, gently push away from you with your left index finger - hold it there to go into reverse. It takes seconds to get used to this easy operation, and pretty soon you'll be racing with your friends!

The RS4 Sport 3 1969 Ford Mustang RTR-X is fitted with a set of HPI Spec-Grip treaded rubber tyres for maximum grip on just about every paved surface. You'll get great acceleration, braking and cornering performance from these semi-slick, grippy rubber tyres! The tyres are molded in a durable, long-wearing rubber compound that will give you a long life for hours of fun and enjoyment. If going sideways is more your style, we also include a second set of wheels fitted with HPI T-Drift tyres. These low-profile drift-specific tyres are made for high-performance, realistic drift action at 1/10th scale! Just make a quick pit stop to change them over and you’ll be ready to show off your drift skills in no time.
 
Underneath the detailed replica body is the RS4 Sport 3 chassis, the latest scale touring car chassis from HPI Racing! The HPI RS4 Sport 3 chassis features full-time 4WD, a completely sealed and highly efficient shaft drivetrain, coil-over shock absorbers plus waterproof electronics. The fully contained drivetrain means there are no exposed gears, belts or drivetrain parts to get stuck with rocks or dirt. The car is completely assembled and fitted with the 1969 Ford Mustang RTR-X body and 5-spoke deep dish wheels right out of the box, so all you have to do is PLUG IN AND DRIVE!
 
One-Piece Molded Chassis
The RS4 Sport 3 main chassis is formed from a single piece of reinforced plastic and features the drivetrain tunnel molded right down the middle, just like a real car. It's a step beyond any plastic tub chassis car available today.
 
Low Profile Layout Design
One of the ways we gave the RS4 Sport 3 the best possible handling was to make sure all the components fit as low as possible in the chassis. This gives the car an amazingly low center of gravity for enhanced cornering capabilities.
 
2S LiPo CAPABLE
The RS4 Sport 3 features a versatile electronic speed controller that can be used with modern lithium-polymer (LiPo) or nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries. Please note a LiPo adapter plug is not included.
 
Fits a Wide Variety of Batteries
The RS4 Sport 3 chassis can fit lithium-polymer and nickel-cadmium packs of various sizes, including the extra-long 7-cell Ni-MH packs. Whatever your power requirements, it can hold it all! A thick hook-and-loop strap holds the pack securely in place, and a simple battery block screws into place to allow you to adjust the weight distribution forward or backward for extra steering or acceleration.
 
Full-Time Four-Wheel Drive
The RS4 Sport 3 features full-time four-wheel drive to give you the most control and precision on the road or track. All four wheels are driven by heavy duty gear differentials at the front and rear, just like a real car. The extra traction gives you increased acceleration and cornering control for maximum confidence and fun.
