If your truck has lights, then your trailer should as well! You get tail lights, stop lights, indicators and hazard flashers. All operate with the truck lights. You DON'T get a reversing light though. The cable supplied is much longer than required, so you can use this kit on lengthened trailers. Not sure about the Carson ones, I don't have any measurements. The plug to connect to the tractor unit is a bit naff and anything but scale. A competent modeller could probably make something much more scale-like.
