Back to the original, the Midnight Pumpkin is now available in Chrome (kit 58365) and in this version "Black" (kit 58547).
Way back in 1987 when the Pumpkin first bounced into the world's hobby stores, before the internet and before the age of the electronic speed controller, it was supplied in white plastic for you to paint black, and with yellow wheels. With modern colour injection technology having advanced, this new "black" edition is as close as you can get to that original - but improved in that the body is now supplied moulded in black - all you need do is optionally top coat it with a lacquer if you want a really deep shine, although it's black enough that you could just put the stickers on!
Classic yellow wheels are included and of course the reinforcements made to the chassis and steering in the earlier Chrome release carry on here.
Just needs an electronic speed controller (choose one below) and the usual radio / battery / charger to build and party like it's 1987!
