Deliveries of Model Paint

The regulations of what can and can't be sent in the UK and International Mail changed in January 2013.

Small pots of model paint: These can go in the INLAND post only if they are water based.

Aerosol Paint and Oil Based pots: These can ONLY be delivered by Courier - Royal Mail will refuse all parcels containing it, or more specifically they destroy them.

Unfortunately this means we can no longer send ANY type of model paint to addresses outside of the UK.  This includes Southern Ireland.  Orders for non-UK destinations will have paint removed and refunded.

Within England, Wales and Southern Scotland:  Paint will be sent by courier.  If you choose the No Rush option, this is typically a 7 day service.  If you choose the faster service, this will usually be 1 to 2 days, as long as paint is in stock (a little longer if we're waiting on a restock - we restock all colours weekly).

Within Northern Ireland, Offshore Islands (including Isle Of Wight) and Scottish Postcodes IV (all), KW (all), PH5-9, PH10, PH15-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, AB31-38, AB41-45, AB51-56, HS2-9, PA20-38, PA41-49, PA60-78, ZE, KA27-28):  Only the slower service is available.  Even if you choose the faster service, we can only use the slower service as the faster courier will not cover these areas with paint deliveries.  Odd island destinations are excluded entirely for reasons we cannot fathom - we will always contact you if we cannot send the goods to explain why.

Channel Islands:

- We cannot supply paint to these addresses at all.

Orders to areas where we cannot send spray paint within our regular services (e.g. buy a RC car and a tin of paint to a Welsh address - OK for any delivery option, but buy the same to a Jersey address) will have the paint refunded from the order.

Due to the legal penalties involved, we will not "give it a try" to see if it arrives.  Nor can we send items at your risk or on your responsibility.

We agree that this is an unfortunate situation.  Royal Mail has decided to implement some regulations in an extreme way, and all the express national courier companies (with the exception of Parcelforce who being part of Royal Mail fall under the same rules) significantly penalise courier deliveries to islands and the North Of Scotland, hence only the slower service being available.
